Ecuador in february....

Vulcano # 1 -trip! me, my hermana-ecuatoriana, and her gringa-friend. This was my first trip over 4000meters! 14.of february...

the stressful end of carneval in Baños,
and our blondie got it worst!
we rented bikes and headed for the road towards the oriente..
and whattayouknow, the most famous waterfalls in Baños starts with a pump!

I joined a muchacho chileno for a hike up to the vulkano # 2 trip,

and i had a feeling that this guide had done the trip before..
happyface under the vulcano # 2, the next day it was no longer sleeping!

find the alpakka.., we travelled by bus on the highest paved road in the world! the bus ended its days right below the biggest vulcano (# 3) in ecuador, and we got to travel by truck the remaings of the trip.

and where there is no ocean within 6 hours distance i finally met someone ive been serching for for a long time! to bad he was locked up in glass..
in Riobamba we had our best meal so far in the sierra! grilled meat and corn, various selections of sodas of unknown origin, accompanied with the finest telenovela..

in the last day of our vacation we spent four hours on top of a train taking us through the remainings of trans-andes railway!
the view on the other side of the train wasnt always spectaculous..
where the railway ended, therese and i enjoyed a fine meal of cow-stomach. then we went home.
